*Please Note - This process is NOT phone friendly. Please use a computer to complete registration!*
RETURNING USERS:
- Login with your username and password to access the family account you created.
- If you do not remember your login credentials, please email LBSSActivities@fcps.edu and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
- Please note, you will see all previous registrations from prior school years on the account page. Registrations are separated by a heading indicating the associated school year.
- Click 'Register', and your previously registered child's name will appear in the drop down menu. If your child's name does not appear, please select 'New Registration'.
- A pop up window will appear giving you the option to select either 'Athletic Registration' or 'VHSL Academic Activity Registration'.
- A previously registered student's information will autoload, with the exception of current grade and selected athletics/activities. Please review each step to make sure the information is accurate and up-to-date. Make any necessary changes before submitting the registration.
- VHSL physicals can be emailed to LBSSActivities@fcps.edu (single PDF document ONLY, no photos, Revised January 2021 version ONLY - instructions for electronic submission below), mailed to the school, dropped off in the main office, or handed in during Tryout Card Distribution. DO NOT GIVE PHYSICALS TO COACHES. If you have already submitted a physical for this school year (2022-2023), it is on file and will remain valid until June 30th, 2023. Physicals that were submitted to participate in the 2021-2022 school year expire on June 30th, 2022.
NEW USERS:
**Parents will create one account per family. Students in the same family will need to be registered within the same account.
**Once you have created and verified your account via email, you will then need to register your child(ren) for athletics or activites.
- Login with your username and password to access the family account you created.
- Click 'Register', and select either 'Athletic Registration' or 'VHSL Academic Activity Registration'.
- Enter your child's Student ID number and Full Last Name.
- You will be brought to a page that has a list of 7 steps on the left-hand side of the screen. Anything with an (*) must be filled out.
- Step 1: Select Student - Your child's information will pull from SIS. Please verify that this information is up-to-date and make any necessary changes to ensure accuracy. Click 'Next Page'.
- Step 2: Select Activity - Here you will be able to select any and all sports/activities your child is interested in. Hold down the 'Ctrl' button to select multiple sports in a single season. Click 'Next Page'.
- Step 3: Parent/Guardian Information - Please fill out the Parent/Guardian information with accurate contact phone numbers, emails, and address. Please list both parents/guardians if possible. Click 'Next Page'.
- Step 4: Physical Forms - Here you will verify that you acknowledge the VHSL Physical Examination Form requirement. VHSL physicals can be emailed to LBSSActivities@fcps.edu (single PDF document ONLY, no photos, Revised January 2021 version ONLY - instructions for electronic submission below), mailed to the school, dropped off in the main office, or handed in during Tryout Card distribution. DO NOT GIVE PHYSICALS TO COACHES. If you have already submitted a physical for this school year (2022-2023), it is on file and will remain valid until June 30th, 2023. Physicals that were submitted to participate in the 2021-2022 school year expire on June 30th, 2022. Blank VHSL forms can be found here. After checking the box, click 'Next Page'.
- Step 5: Emergency Care Card - This piece is now collected electronically and shared with coaches at the beginning of the season. Please make sure this information is complete, thorough, and accurate, as it will be shared with EMS in the event of an emergency. Please pay close attention to the 'Other Emergency Contacts', in which you will be asked to list at least 2 people we may call if you cannot be reached. Hard copies of the ECC are no longer a requirement if you have completed registration. Click 'Next Page'.
- Step 6: Concussion Education - This piece is now collected electronically, as well. Signed paper versions will no longer be collected by the Athletic Trainers or Activities Office. Please carefully review the presentation in its entirety. It will need to be signed electronically by both the parent and student. Click 'Next Page'.
- Step 7: Others - Here you will be able to fill out additional paperwork that is optional, such as the Weight Room Permission Form, the Driver Release Form for field trips, and Field Trip Permission Form. At the bottom, both you and your child will be asked to electronically sign an agreement to the terms and conditions of registering for sports/activities. DO NOT CLICK 'SAVE AND FINISH LATER'. For whatever reason, the 'Next' button does not highlight blue like it does in previous steps, but you will need to click 'Next' to finish the registration. Click 'Next'.
- Next, you will be taken to a "Checkout Page" where you will be asked to verify the sport(s)/activity your child is registering for. Click 'Submit'.
- Be patient as the next page loads. You should get confirmation that you have completed the registration. Feel free to print or screenshot this page for your records.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF VHSL PHYSICAL FORM:
- A single PDF document including all four pages of the VHSL form and any other related documents (doctor's notes, specialist clearance, Kaiser Permanente printouts) can be scanned and emailed to LBSSActivities@fcps.edu.
- If you do not have access to a scanner, you can use your phone!
- iPhone Users: There is a built-in scanning feature in the 'Notes' app. Just start a new note, tap on the camera icon, and select 'Scan Documents'. Scan a page, select 'Keep Scan', and continue this process until you have scanned all necessary pages. Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner when finished. You can then tap on the document and email it!
- Android Users: There is a built-in scanning feature in the 'Google Drive' app. Open your Google Drive and tap on the '+' in the bottom right corner. Select the 'Scan' option, which should open up your camera. Take a picture of the first page, click 'Done' and then make any adjustments. From here you will tap on the '+' icon in the bottom left corner to scan additional pages into the same document. Continue this process until you have scanned all necessary pages. Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner and then rename the document whatever you would like. You can then open the document and email it!
- Pictures will NO LONGER be accepted for valid submission. Pictures are typically dark and/or poor quality by the time they travel through the FCPS email server, making it difficult to read them clearly. Please DO NOT send pictures of this document.

- July 26th - 28th (Tuesday - Thursday)
- 3:00 - 7:00 pm

- Winter Sports (Tryouts Begin November 7):
- November 2nd - 4th (Wednesday - Friday)
- During ALL Lunches in the Cafeteria OR
- Afterschool in the Athletic Training Room (G101 - Door 10)
- Spring Sports (Tryouts Begin February 20):
- February 13th - 17th (Monday - Friday, except Wednesday)
- During ALL HS lunches in the Cafeteria OR
- Afterschool in the Athletic Training Room (G101 - Door 10), Monday through Friday
